For all of my adult life after graduating from Cornell University, I have lived in Davidson County
– we are talking decades, I’m old! I’ve been a REALTOR for almost as long, from back in the 90’s. With an MBA from Wake ForestUniversity, I bring a unique set of talents for selling your home and helping you find your next
home. My business acumen fits nicely with making sure our Triad area neighbors get the best
value from your past home and/or from your new home.
Local is what I am all about – I stay focus on this area, and am not focused on volume (you’ll
never see me post “I’m a gadzillion dollar producer!!”) but instead quality, getting to know my
clients who are more than clients.
My wife Amy and I have seven grandchildren, all local, ranging from 4 months to
8 years. Being PopPop to them is a big part of my life now.
I am very active in our church, First Baptist Welcome – where I serve with our
YouthMin. I get to work with Middle and High Schoolers, teaching and
disciplining, and occasionally shooting them with Nerf guns.
I have a sports ministry, MADDAWG Ministries, where I use sports to engage youth and young adults to both entertain and ultimately enlighten them about the Gospel. I have been fortunate to do this in several places around the world and at home.
My “MADDAWG” nickname? A long time ago we were talking about our initials in a youth meeting for some reason and I shared mine was MAD (Alan for the middle) and an adult youth volunteer say “Oh, like a MADDAWG” and it stuck ever since.
